ADDAMEER warns against the unlawful collective punishments committed by the occupying authorities against Palestinians

In light of the ongoing violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, the continuous attacks on civilians, in addition to the arbitrary and punitive measures imposed by the new government against Palestinian prisoners, the violations against holy sites, settler attacks on cities and villages, and the continuous siege on the Gaza Strip

[PALESTINE] Palestinian Civil Society Organizations (CSO’s) call for the protection of the Palestinian people.

The ongoing Israeli occupation of nonproportional attacks against protected civilians in the Gaza Strip constitutes a war crime. The Israeli occupation, as the occupying power, has a legal responsibility to ensure the protection of the lives and wellbeing of the protected Palestinian civilians in times of war.

Prison is a Still Point..in a Turning World

This paper mainly draws on interviews specifically conducted with prisoners who spent more than ten years in detention for the purpose of this paper. It also relies on an archive holding records of hundreds of visits conducted by Addameer to the occupation’s prisons over the years. During these visits, Addameer documented various praxes the occupation uses against prisoners, the nature of the prisoners’ daily life, and all the policies they face.

Addameer Association views with great concern the increasing number of political arrests in the West Bank

The Palestinian Security Forces (PSF) arrested approximately 65 Palestinians during the month of August, including 6 university students. During the last week of August, about 22 political arrests by the General Intelligence and Preventive Security agencies were recorded, 5 of whom were arrested after being summoned for questioning. Additionally, a female citizen was summoned for questioning, and an entire family was arrested in the city of Nablus.
